GCSE students collect exam results

There were congratulations and delight for Year 11 students at Preston Manor as they collected their exam results.  This was the first year of a return to normal Pre-Covid examinations and the students’ efforts and resilience has been remarkable.  Staff celebrated with the students, many of which will be continuing into the sixth form at Preston Manor.

Congratulations to Sarah EL Tobgy who achieved Grades 8 and 9 in all subjects including Art, Chemistry, Maths and Sociology.  She will stay at Preston Manor Sixth Form and will go on to study A-Level's in Biology, Chemistry and Further Maths. "I am extremely happy with my results and look forward to continuing my journey at Preston Manor."

We are so proud of Redwan Mohamed who despite many challenges this year managed to defeat all odds and achieved exceptional grades including 8+ in Biology, Business Studies, Chemistry and Maths! "I am thrilled and delighted with my results and thankful to God and my Form Tutor Ms Amele for always pushing me."  Redwan will continue his journey at Preston Manor Sixth Form to study A-Level's in Biology, Chemistry, Maths.

Well done Nilasha Assudani who achieved Grade 9 in Physics and a further four Grades 8's in Biology, Chemistry, Geography and Maths.She will be staying at our Sixth Form to study A-Level Biology, Chemistry, Maths and Physics. "I am delighted with my results, especially Physics. I joined Preston Manor in Year 11, coming from overseas, I was welcomed by all the teachers and was particularly supported by Ms Saleem."

David Tully, Assistant Headteacher reflected on the positive results, saying “I am thrilled for the students and want to congratulate them on their incredible achievements. It bodes very well for their future pathways, and I predict great things for them. It is great to hear that so many are staying on to study in our 6th Form and continue to be part of our community.”

Stuart Taylor, Head of School said “There were some extremely impressive results from our students.  They have worked so hard and really shown their positive attitudes in securing their results! We are very proud of them.”
