Limited Literacy skills form a major barrier to learning therefore it is important to address this issue through a proactive and comprehensive cross curricular strategy that is used by all staff.  The Preston Manor Literacy Marking Policy seeks to:

• ensure there is consistency in marking across every subject
• make clear to students that accuracy and quality of writing is important

As parents and carers, you can use the Literacy Marking Policy at home to support Home Learning and to check the accuracy of your child’s work.
