Year 3 Anglo Saxon workhop

Jana from Brent Museum recently visited our Year 3 classes to deliver an exciting workshop about the Anglo-Saxons. The children had a wonderful time learning about life in Anglo-Saxon Britain through a range of interactive activities.

During the session, pupils had the opportunity to dress in replica Anglo-Saxon clothing and handle a selection of domestic artefacts, giving them a real sense of what everyday life might have been like in the past. They explored how people lived, the types of objects they used, and how historians learn about this period of history.

The workshop was a fantastic way to bring our history learning to life, and the children thoroughly enjoyed the chance to step back in time!
