Preston Manor Sixth Form Students Celebrate National Competition Success at the London Stock Exchange
Preston Manor students have achieved an outstanding national accolade, securing a place among the top three highest-achieving Sixth Forms in the UK in the Understanding Money, Markets and Risk competition.
The competition, which challenges students to develop their financial literacy and understanding of global markets, brought together young people in an exciting virtual trading experience. Delivered in collaboration with Goldman Sachs, the London Stock Exchange Group (LSEG) and Founders4Schools, the programme gave students the opportunity to explore the world of finance, investment and risk management.
Following their exceptional performance, Preston Manor VI Formers were invited to celebrate their success at the iconic London Stock Exchange, where they took part in the prestigious Ring the Bell Ceremony.
The event provided a memorable opportunity to recognise the students' hard work, commitment and achievements, while celebrating their growing knowledge and confidence in understanding financial markets.
