The Parent Partnership Group Meetings at Preston Manor is a new remote initiative that works hard to engage parents in ideas and strategies to ultimately help to raise students' achievement.
There is a small Parent's Focus Group that meets to discuss potential agenda's for the Partnership group meetings. Both the Partnership & the Focus group cover all key stages, and recently replaced the Parent Association format.
The revised parent partnership structure will have approximately 2 meetings a term. Prior to these meetings, all parents will have been asked to complete a survey beforehand. Themes within the survey will change each time, and reflect the issues at the time. e.g.
- Impact of Lockdown
- Remote Learning
- Technology Support
- Well-being Support (Parent/Child)
- School Communication.
This academic year's dates are:
- Wednesday 13 October 2021
- Wednesday 19 January 2022
- Wednesday 18 May 2022
Remote Meetings times are announced weeks before the date, with each session running for approximately 45 minutes.
The Parent Partnership is a valued forum for parents/carers to share initiatives and discuss concerns with invited and key members of the school community. Importantly, the Parent partnership works to both engage as well as inform our parents/carers.
Parents/Carers, please use the following link, If you would like to send a message to the Parent Partnership, or would like to raise issues that you think would be useful to discuss at our next meeting.
PLEASE NOTE : If you would require documents to be interpreted or translated for clarity, please do not hesitate to bring this to the attention of the Assistant Head (Mr Ward). We will endeavour to ensure that all communications are understood by all families.
