Year 9 Count on Us Maths Challenge

On Wednesday 1 May, five Year 9 students participated in the Count on Us Maths Secondary Challenge held at Hammersmith Academy, organised by the Jack Petchey Foundation in partnership with the Mayor’s Fund for London. It is a unique, interschool maths programme for KS3 students across London, which aims to improve confidence and fluency in maths.

Students worked on combining a series of mental arithmetic and problem-solving games. Count on Us helped to develop students’ mathematical knowledge and encouraged enjoyment in mathematics.
