GCSE and A-Level Results Summer 2024

 

We are delighted to report that we saw a sizeable increase in both our GCSE and A-Level results this summer.  It’s testament to how hard the staff and students have worked over the past 2 years and more. 

Results can’t be published on our website until the Department for Education releases the verified results in October, but we’re really pleased to see that we are moving in a strong direction and now have a platform to continue growing in strength.  Some highlights include:

GCSE

• A 25-30% increase in our overall Progress 8 score at GCSE (exact amount can be confirmed once verified results are released)
• Increase in students achieving 4+ and 5+ English and Maths
• Increase in Attainment 8 from the previous year

• 22% of all grades achieved were a 7+
• 219 grades 8 & 9s were achieved 
• 10 students achieved 10 GCSEs at Grade 7 - 9
• 15 students achieved 8 GCSEs at Grade 7 - 9
• 7 students achieved 8 GCSEs at Grade 8 - 9
• 65 Grade 9s, 154 Grade 8s and 216 Grade 7s - significantly higher than the previous year

• An improvement of around 2 ALPs scores at A-Level
• 80% of students have gone on to Russell Group or Silver/Gold standard Universities from our Sixth Form
• All significant A-Level measurements improved from the previous year.
