GCSE Results Day 2025

Preston Manor School was buzzing with excitement as students received their GCSE results, reflecting the school’s ongoing upward trend. We were also thrilled to celebrate an impressive array of individual achievements.

Huge congratulations to Vainavi Charabudla who achieved exceptional Grade 9 results across all her subjects including Biology, Chemistry, Physics, History and Maths. Vainavi is intending to go on to study A-Levels in Maths, Further Maths, Economics, and Physics.

Vainavi said, “Thank you to everyone who has helped me on my GCSE journey. I am so proud of myself for achieving these results. Thank you to all the teachers and my fellow students.”

 

Several other students celebrated outstanding grades, especially Huda Al-Wardi, Eshitha, Jathin, Jannah Abukar, and Noor Azam, who attained Grades 8 and 9 in most of their subjects. These high achievers attributed their impressive results to consistent support, effort, and dedication.

Jannah, another high-achieving student who earned grade 9s and grade 8s, shared, "I am so happy and grateful to Preston Manor and everyone who has helped me to achieve these results."

The Director of Student Development for Year 11, Mr McNab, said, “I am extremely proud of our students. They have consistently shown such hard work and dedication and these results display the brilliant reward of all their efforts throughout their time at Preston Manor. We are delighted to be able to celebrate the excellent results with our students today and congratulate them on their achievements. I am very grateful for all the continuous fantastic support from parents and staff which has been so beneficial for our young people.”

Secondary Headteacher, Mr Phillips, was very pleased with the overall results and, as with the A-Levels, the GCSEs are extremely positive in key measurable outcomes. “I’m delighted to have seen so many smiling faces and heard screams of joy this morning as our students opened their results. There have been some real success stories today and our students should be proud of their achievements. I wish them the very best of luck in the next phase of their education journey.”
