Preston Manor recognised as an IQM Centre of Excellence

We are delighted to announce that Preston Manor School has been awarded the Inclusion Quality Mark (IQM) and has also been recognised as an IQM Centre of Excellence in recognition of our outstanding inclusive practice across our all-through school, from Reception to Year 13.

This prestigious national recognition reflects our unwavering commitment to ensuring that every child and young person feels valued, supported and able to thrive. Following a rigorous two-day assessment, the assessor recognised that inclusion is embedded throughout every aspect of school life, describing it as being "at the heart of the work of the school."

The assessment praised the quality of teaching, leadership, pastoral care, student voice and our strong partnerships with families. It highlighted our calm and purposeful learning environment, the expertise and dedication of our staff, and our commitment to ensuring every learner can access a broad, ambitious curriculum alongside the personalised support they need to succeed.

The report also recognised the exceptional collaboration between staff, pupils, governors, parents and external professionals, commenting that despite being a large all-through school, "individuals really matter."

Achieving Centre of Excellence status places Preston Manor amongst a select group of schools recognised nationally for exemplary inclusive practice and an ongoing commitment to sharing and developing excellence across the education community.

We are incredibly proud of this achievement and would like to thank our dedicated staff, wonderful students, supportive families and governors for the part they have all played.

This recognition belongs to our whole school community and reflects our shared commitment to ensuring that every child can flourish through our values of Ambition, Responsibility and Excellence.
