Upper School Council meeting
Another productive and student-led Student Council meeting this week — our penultimate meeting of the 2025–2026 academic year!
Students shared thoughtful ideas and practical proposals focused on improving everyday school life and strengthening the wider school community. Thank you to all the forms and suggestions submitted in March as these formed the basis of our discussion, which included:
- Improving the condition and cleanliness of student toilets
- Proposals for a summer uniform during warmer weather
- Creating a Preston Manor News Bulletin to keep students informed and celebrate achievements
- Better promotion of the wide range of clubs and enrichment opportunities available across the school
- Early planning ideas for a future Preston Manor’s Got Talent event
It was fantastic to see students confidently raising issues, debating solutions and working collaboratively to make positive changes within the school community. A huge thank you to all representatives for their enthusiasm, honesty and commitment throughout this past year.
