Year 10 Science students visit The Royal Institution

On Monday 14 May, selected Year 10 students visited The Royal Institution for an exciting Physics Workshop on Magnets and Motors.

The students had the opportunity to deepen their understanding of key physics concepts by exploring magnetic field lines, building electromagnets, and constructing electric motors. They also toured the prestigious facilities, including state-of-the-art laboratories, fascinating exhibitions, historic libraries, and impressive lecture halls. It was a highly engaging and inspiring experience, with many students expressing enthusiasm for scientific research and a future in STEM.
